Get Started:

Explore our volunteer calendar below to discover upcoming opportunities and start your journey with Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity. You can volunteer with our Construction team or at the ReStore. 

1. Use the arrow buttons at the top of the calendar to navigate to the desired month. 
2. Select the 'Opportunities' menu and choose between General Construction or ReStore shifts. 
3. Click 'Sign up' for the shift you're interested in. If you have a Habitat account, click 'Login'; otherwise, select 'Sign up with email'.
4. Follow the prompts.
5. If you've registered for a specific date to volunteer with General Construction, you'll receive an email the Friday before your scheduled date. This email will contain general information about your volunteer work and will include the location where the construction will take place.

For Your Information:

• Volunteers at the Restore must be 18 years or older. For Construction volunteering, the minimum age requirement is 16 years or older. Volunteers under 18 who wish to assist with construction must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian and have a signed Release & Waiver of Liability for Minors.
• We regret to inform you that we are unable to accept volunteers fulfilling court-ordered community service.
• To ensure the safety and security of all participants, Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity requires all volunteers to submit a signed Release & Waiver of Liability, and Background Check Consent Form before participating in any activities.
