In Support of Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity
- Home construction projects will take place every Tuesday and Thursday, with volunteers working side-by-side to build strength and stability through shelter.
- Participants will also fundraise throughout the campaign, helping to cover the cost of construction for a homeowner partner and support Habitat’s mission.
Fundraise With Us: Form or Join a Women Build Team
Rally your friends, family, coworkers, or organization to raise funds and volunteer together. Then, spend a day on the build site working alongside our homeowner partners, Habitat staff, and other changemakers in the community. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn, build, and support others. As a team leader or member, you’ll help raise critical funds for affordable housing while empowering women to gain skills and confidence in the construction trade.
Throughout the month, fundraising efforts from teams, individuals, businesses, and local organizations will help us reach our campaign goal. *Businesses are encouraged to match their employees’ contributions to amplify their impact and show their commitment to building a better future.
Become a Sponsor
By partnering with Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity as a Women Build sponsor, you help create meaningful opportunities for women to develop skills, gain confidence, and actively contribute to their community. Funds raised through Women Build sponsorships and donations will support the construction of a new home for a female-led homeowner partner.
Because our focus is on empowerment, your support creates lasting impact. Habitat’s affordable homeownership program not only transforms lives today—it also provides long-term solutions by helping to break the cycle of poverty and build generational wealth, especially for individuals and families from historically marginalized communities.
